Video to Text Your recording, in words.
Upload your own audio or video to get readable text and timestamped passages. Default limit: 6 MB; the input shows the actual configured provider limit.
From your recording to useful text
Upload an interview, voice memo, tutorial or video you own or have permission to process. When the service is ready, sign in, choose one file and submit it. The current file-size limit is 6 MB. A TikTok webpage URL is not an audio file; use the TikTok transcript tool for public links.
What the result contains
The OpenRouter transcription path returns plain text and timestamped passages. Save it to your account history and export TXT, Markdown or JSON. Read along with the original to correct names, numbers and technical terms. Passage timestamps do not guarantee word alignment or ready-made SRT cues.
Supported formats and limits
MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, MP4, MOV and WebM are accepted subject to supported encoding and provider availability. The normal OpenRouter upload limit is 6 MB; an operator-configured Deepgram path permits 25 MB. The file picker displays the actual configured limit. Compress or trim a large recording before uploading; renaming its extension does not change its format.
Files, history and privacy
The recording is sent to the configured transcription provider for processing. The application retains your transcript in your account when saved, not the original uploaded recording. Provider policies still apply. Browser-only SRT editing is separate and does not upload your subtitle file. Read the privacy policy before submitting sensitive material.
If an upload fails
Check the file size, recording format and service status. A private platform link or missing speech cannot be fixed by changing the filename. Failed transcription does not use one of your five daily successful jobs. If the same failure repeats, contact support with the error and file format, without attaching private media.

Which files can I upload?+
Use MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, MP4, MOV, or WebM. Uploads are normally limited to 6 MB, or 25 MB with the optional Deepgram provider. You must own the content or have permission to process it. Check live availability and the current upload size above. Your recording is processed by the configured provider and is not retained as an original file in the application database.
Can I transcribe my own video in this preview?+
Yes. Log in to get five free video transcriptions each UTC day. Public TikTok links and supported file uploads are available when the service status above is ready. Instagram and YouTube link processing is planned. Results are saved to your account; failed jobs and existing results do not use a daily slot.
What would a paid plan add?+
Creator unlocks AI opening hooks, script rewrites and framework analysis. Ordinary transcription includes five free jobs per UTC day. Creator is $9.90 monthly, $59 yearly, or $69 one-time for the proposed lifetime offer; yearly billing saves $59.80 compared with twelve monthly payments. Checkout is not open yet, so no payment or subscription is activated from this preview.
Which export should I choose?+
Choose TXT for documents or chat, Markdown for source context in Claude Code or Codex, and JSON for your own scripts. Real link results include plain and timestamped text; SRT requires cue start/end timings and is available for the sample or an imported subtitle file. Downloads from the editor include your current text edits. The file preview above offers the same original sample in all four formats.
Will the SRT file put captions on my video?+
SRT is a text file containing numbered subtitle cues and their start and end times. Import it into a compatible video editor, check timing against the recording, and choose the caption style there. This workspace does not render or download a captioned video.
Do I need MCP to work with Claude Code or Codex?+
No. Download Agent .md, place the file in your project, and ask the agent to read it with a specific task. MCP is an optional path for direct tool requests. Public per-user MCP access is planned. Existing protocol documentation is for operators, not a personal token service. Use a Markdown file today.
Where do saved transcripts go?+
Log in and use Save to workspace to store your transcript and edits in your account. Open History to revisit it from another session. You can move items to trash and restore them. The original media file is not retained. Earlier browser drafts can be explicitly imported from the workspace.
What source and upload limits should I expect?+
TikTok processing handles one public video, up to 10 minutes and an 8 MB fetched recording. Profiles, playlists, private content, and batches are not supported. Uploads accept MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, MP4, MOV, and WebM, normally up to 6 MB; the optional Deepgram provider allows 25 MB. The input shows this environment’s actual limit. Own the material or have permission, and review every generated transcript before publishing.
