Why can a TikTok video download fail?
A public link can still be inaccessible to a download provider. The post may have been removed, require source-platform sign-in or exceed the duration or size limit. A provider can also be busy or unavailable. Check the original post, keep the error message and retry later; repeatedly submitting does not grant access to restricted content.

Is this TikTok video downloader free?
Yes. TikTok video downloads are available to signed-in free accounts without a Creator subscription. Downloads do not spend the five daily transcription jobs. Download and video lookup requests share an account limit of 20 per hour.
Does it download TikTok videos without a watermark?
The tool saves the video file supplied by the connected provider. It does not erase an existing watermark and does not guarantee a watermark-free version. Do not remove attribution or assume a download gives you reuse rights.
Can I download private videos or a whole profile?
No. This page handles one accessible TikTok video at a time. It does not use your TikTok session, read private posts, import profiles, process photo carousels or perform batch downloads.
Where does the downloaded video go?
Your browser controls the download location. On a computer it is usually Downloads; on a phone check Files or the browser download list. You may need to move the file to Photos yourself.
Will downloading use my transcription allowance?
No. This request retrieves a video file without speech recognition. To get the spoken words as text, use the transcript tool; new successful transcriptions use the separate daily allowance.
Do downloads work on iPhone, Android and desktop?
The page runs in a browser on these devices. The browser and operating system determine whether the file downloads, prompts for a location or opens for playback. Use the Save video file link again if the first browser action is blocked.
Need the words as well as the video?
Use a TikTok transcript for exact quotations, research notes or a new script. Review the speech against the source, then export the text you need. Existing SRT subtitles can be checked separately in the subtitle editor.
